Mme Isabelle CORNU

Orthoptist

Isabelle Cornu graduated from the Lausanne School of Orthoptics in 1991, and since then has worked as orthoptist for several ophthalmologists in the Geneva area.

She worked as a technician for diagnostic eye examinations at the A. de Rothschild Hospital and later at the MV Santé clinic.

Since 2005, after taking various training courses in France, she has specialized in the treatment of children with sight-linked learning difficulties (neuro-visual disorders).

She makes regular presentations in French-speaking Switzerland regarding neuro-visual disorders linked to learning difficulties, notably at the Association Dyslexie Suisse Romande (ADSR), at Association “Dyspra’quoi”, and at other speech therapy, occupational therapy and psychomotor therapy associations, and also at UniGe as part of their speech-therapist training.

Besides her work as an orthoptist, Isabelle is also a Reiki Master and is taking Rythmic Movement Training courses (RMTi) on primitive reflex integration. She spends her free time with her family, hiking or cycling outdoors, practicing yoga, or reading.
