Dr Konstantinos ALIFERIS is an FMH (Federation of Swiss Doctors – Foederatio Medicorum Helveticorum) Specialist in Ophthalmology and Ophthalmic Surgery. He trained in Ophthalmology and Medical Genetics at the Geneva University Hospitals and obtained the FMH qualification in Ophthalmology in 2010. He then specialized in Ophthalmic Genetics, Paediatric Ophthalmology and Medical Retina studies at the University Hospitals of Strasbourg and at the Quinze-Vingts National Ophthalmology Hospital in Paris. On his return to Switzerland in 2014, he was appointed Head of clinic at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital in Lausanne (University Service of Ophthalmology of the CHUV) and obtained the FMH qualification for in-depth training in Ophthalmic Surgery in 2017. Since 2018, he has been a consultant Hospital Medical Practitioner at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital in Lausanne and also practices at Vision Rive Droite. He also set up a private practice in Morges in 2019.
