After completing her studies in Medicine in Geneva, Dr Béatrice Rossillion qualified as an FMH Specialist in ophthalmology at the Geneva University Hospitals. She continued her postgraduate training in the fields of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismology at the Uniklinik in Frankfurt, Germany. On her return to Geneva in 1997, she was appointed Deputy Head of Clinic of the HUG Ophthalmology Clinic. She resumed her work treating strabismus at the Ophthalmology Clinic after the departure of Professor Roth and focused on the paediatric ophthalmologist aspect. She was appointed Deputy Consultant in 2006 and continued to develop her paediatric ophthalmology and strabismology subspecialities before establishing her private practice in 2008.
